what do the experts say about it?

The touch screen kiosk application creates a dynamic, informative shopping experience. Using a touchscreen kiosk the Guru helps consumers make confident buying decisions, and in the process increases sales of high value wines.The Guru kiosk application allows customers to search for a wine that suits their needs using on-screen buttons grouped by category:
• Style
• Type
• Country
• Grape
• Food Match

This software through the process of elimination can help a customer narrow an overwhelming choice of 800 wines. Each touch refines the search, and a list of results can be viewed at any stage. Once the search has been narrowed to 8 wines with each remaining wine the application will allow each wine to be viewed one by one to get detailed tasting and food notes. When a preferred wine has been found the details can be printed off at the kiosk (with the printer option).

Alternatively customers can select a bottle from the shelf and scan it at the kiosk to find out more information about the chosen wine.
