Placing kiosks in locations other companies have struggled with has always been an area where Cammax have excelled. Understanding a site’s requirements in terms of the customer’s needs and environmental factors is a key part of a successful kiosk implementation. When Runvisual were contacted by Islington Council, the brief was to place a touchscreen kiosk within the cemetery to give people access to a touchscreen book of remembrance. The client chose the wall mounted Cammax Cirrus Exterior kiosk as this perfectly fitted the client’s functional and aesthetic requirements, as well as being DDA compliant. Installation of the unit was challenging as we faced some interesting challenges including installing our kiosk between the normal day-to-day cremation services. Each member of the Crematorium staff were all trained on how to use and upgrade the kiosk.
In the past, the Crematorium has suffered from a spate of minor
vandalism cases, so as part of our complete package we have supplied
and implemented a software application in order to automatically
shut down and start-up the kiosk at any given time or day, thus
reducing the risk of vandalism. |
